College Council:

Responsible of Handled the Administrative issues for the college, headed by the college dean and contains in it's membership both of the dean assistant administration and Scientific, ahead's of Scientific branch , the representative of lectures union and the head of student union committee for pharmacy college.

Student affairs:

Responsible of following up all administration related to the students, the pharmacy college accepts the new student through:

1. Central Acceptance
2. The first degree graduated from medical technical institute.
3. The first degree graduated from:
• Veterinary medicine.
• Science college/ Chemistry

Registration requirement:

• Special sponsor (governmental or retired) employee with his/ her ID
• Graduation certificate from his/her high school
• Personal picture (4)
• Certification of Iraqi Nationality  (original) with (3) copies
• Iraqi identification (original) with (3) copies
• Medical check form
• Residence certificate
• Copy of certification of Iraqi Nationality for her/his parents.
• Fill the student application form without striking off or rubbing.
• Fill the information form
• Fill the request for university ID

Official Document required by the student:

Official certificate or (to whom it may concern) letters required by the student to the governorate official departments will be provided to the student through a request by the student to the student affairs department a copy of the request of the certification letter is available at the student affairs and it can be easily obtained personal photo of the student shall be needed and the certification will be done.

Study book:

Do not forget to refer to the class book unit to receive your class book which helps you in following the study topics and its details.

College library:

Our students can review the college library which includes a variety of books, volumes and CD for entire specializations.

Internet Unit:

There is an internet unit in Pharmacy College which can help the students to follow up the recent developments in pharmaceutical field and all science divisions.

Internal residence:

In case you wish to join the university camps. An application form to join the camps from the student affaires then the camps department in the university in BAB AL Zubair complex, for the girls student who are not willing to live in the campus a signed certification from her father delimiting her residence and his continuous follow up to her.

Drug Factory:

Your college has been succeeded in establishing its own drug factory in a private building which represented a complete integrated drug industry to contributed in founding the scientific search and pioneering in our students and in the same time to fill as much as possible the needs of drugs, and this our college preparation for the future.

Certificate Give to the graduated students of Pharmacy College:

Time of study in the college is five years, after finishing this study B.Sc. in pharmacology. The study is divided into 10 semesters with a 2semester per year first semester starts at the beginning of October of the usually on February 15 from the same year.

For each semester there are topics known as courses, each course has a unit number if a student passes 219 unit then he is awarded the B.Sc. the student passes daily and monthly exams to the scientific courses from the other hand to make him fell that the university study is building procedure to his personality and prepare for the future and to keep him in connection, cooperation and exchanging responsibilities.

The mid semester exam is a must and mostly the marks of such exam is between 20 an 30 marks from the above an average degree for the student first semester is obtained. By the end of the semester another exam which is the final that contains the rest of the final degree.

Also there are 30 marks for the practical and 70 for the theorem courses that have practical part, the final degree is supported by a research project adopted by the student with a supervisor to achieve it.

Passing grades & degrees:

The student grades according to his degrees are as follow:

50- 59   Acceptable
60-69   Medium
70-79   Good
80-89   Very good
90-up   Excellent

The students who pass should have a grade of acceptable (at the minimum) in all the subjects the student has the right to have a second term exam in his unsuccessful subjects in the same year of course the following obstacles will affect the student success in his/her study.

First: absence of attendance according to the subject hours of the study.
Second: Any violation against the laws and instructions
